The operator responsible for Trading.Red acts as controller for account and service data. Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to privacy@trading.red.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as email, login method, plan, usage activity, alerts, watchlist entries, portfolio positions and trade-history entries that you choose to save, and technical request data needed to operate and secure the service.

AI Chat and Generated Analysis

When you request AI chat or generated analysis, the ticker, your prompt, relevant market context, and a bounded conversation history are sent to OpenAI for processing. Do not enter account passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health data, or other unnecessary personal information in prompts. Requests and results may be retained temporarily for job delivery, abuse prevention, and support; OpenAI processes them under its applicable service terms and data-processing commitments.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Trading.Red does not store full card numbers on its servers.

Purposes and Legal Bases

Account, security, requested alerts, subscriptions, and support are processed to perform the contract or take requested pre-contract steps. Billing and accounting records are processed to meet legal obligations. Fraud prevention, service security, error logging, and aggregated product measurement rely on legitimate interests after balancing user rights. Optional marketing and non-essential storage rely on consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

Current Subprocessors

The functional provider categories are: hosting and infrastructure; Stripe when payments are enabled; Google for optional OAuth login and advertising consent; OpenAI for user-requested AI analysis and chat; the configured transactional email provider; Sentry only when error monitoring is configured; and Yahoo Finance or other configured market-data and news providers. A current list of active providers, processing locations, and relevant transfer safeguards is available from the privacy contact.

Recipients

Recipients may include the listed subprocessors, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. Providers receive only the data required for their function and must not be described as contractually approved until the applicable agreement is executed.

International Transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers use an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard. You may request information about applicable safeguards from the privacy contact.

Retention

Account data is retained while the account is active and normally deleted or anonymised within 30 days after a verified deletion request, except where retention is needed for legal claims, fraud prevention, or law. Billing and tax records are retained for the statutory period. Security logs are normally retained up to 12 months; support records up to 24 months; consent records for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may withdraw consent. Contact privacy@trading.red. You may also complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Automated Analysis

The service automatically combines market data, technical indicators, rules, and AI-generated text to produce general market-analysis outputs. These outputs do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about users, do not assess personal suitability, and should not be used as personalised financial advice.

Required Data

Email and authentication data are required to create and secure an account. Payment and billing data are required only when you choose an optional paid subscription. Without required data, the relevant account or optional paid service cannot be supplied.

Children

The service is not directed to persons under 18 and we do not knowingly offer accounts to children.

Policy version: 2026-08-20. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.
